Bring Aly’s voice to you! Aly would love to join your community to share music or ritual, whether to gather in close for a participatory Havdalah concert at your synagogue, lead a Shabbaton, or to elevate your organization’s event with grounding, liberation-centered song. Whether on Zoom or in person, Aly will work with you to craft the music and tone for your vision of bringing people together.

Commissions

Aly writes songs to mark time, heal grief, celebrate, uplift, & connect. Do you want to ground in a big life moment? Aly has channeled songs for birthdays, the welcoming and naming of young people, difficult transitions and loss, and jingles for community-centered organizations. She loves finding the perfect melody, feel, and words to capture the personality of people and places -- how to encompass who they are, the gifts they bring, and the blessings they deserve. Workshops

• Songs for Liberation: How can song help us create a liberated world? Join Aly for a session exploring how song can hold us, heal us, and expand our imagination.

• Write-Your-Own Climate Songs (for young people and their allies): The Jewish value of Shomrei Adamah (protecting the earth) could not be more important in these times. This workshop is a chance for young people to find their voices around the climate crisis, and face an issue that is scary even for adults using the tools of music, connection, fun, and games. As a group, we will write our own original climate song and feel our power to create change together.

• The Beginnings of Song — Finding Our Own Music: In this workshop we will ready ourselves to receive, write, and play our own music, with the intention, form, and purpose of the songs we want to bring into the world.

• Serious Songs about Serious Things (for young people): A fun, connected, and experiential space to play games, write silly songs, and explore our musical voices.
